Halloween is one of the most unique American celebrations for au pairs to experience each year. They love how decorative and “spooky” the neighborhood houses are. A hayride in and bonfire, making smores and picking pumpkins adds even more their experience.
Over 30 au pairs joined Joe and I for our annual Potomac Riverboat Cruise This is one of our most popular events of the year and a great way for newly arriving au pairs to see our lovely Capitol from the water view.

Over 160 au pairs and host families with Cultural Care Au Pair enjoyed a great day at Nats Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The September weather was spectacular and the Nats beat the Marlins 13-3!! Great Day!
On May 2, over 100 au pairs and host families enjoyed my annual tour of the White House. Some of them got to see President Obama boarding the helicopter. Exciting!
On April 11th, over 60 au pairs from around the world had a spectacular day in Washington DC taking a River Boat Cruise along the Potomac and getting a bird’s eye view of the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom along with other sites of DC. Terrific Day!

Arlington, VA LCCs hosted a Host Family and Au Pair Pool Party at Overlee Community Pool on Sunday, August 11. The weather was perfect, pool temperature refreshing, and cold beverages and ice cream cake were enjoyed by all.
